Amazon Photos: Photo & Video App Reviews

I have used this app for about a year now and was able to put photos on here from 5 years ago and can access my memories whenever!! This recent update makes the app crash when trying to download pictures or send pictures from within the app.

Just wish auto upload auto upload when app is not foreground

This is an excellent App! It works in the background to get all new photos if set correctly each time it is opened. I have never had one issue with getting it to do what I need. Most intuitive of all I have used. I love this App! I have seen the bad reviews, but I feel they just do not take time to get to know the App. Amazons customer service would be happy to assist. Best photo saving App!!!

Why it takes forever for the app to show the photo thumbnails every time i open the app? So so slow not just for the photos that i took some years ago but also the photos i took and uploaded last night. Literally unusable unless you have plenty of time and patience. Btw google photos takes 0.5 second to show all the photos.

I love the convenience of this app. It keeps all my pictures in one easy to access place .

App works great for photos on cellular, but when I connect to WiFi to upload videos, I receive multiple instances of failures stating "an error occurred" and "a network error occurred". This happens on multiple hotspots. I would love to see an update that allows for video upload over cellular.

Any type of photo or music sharing thing that uses "the cloud" is always done best by Amazon. The photo app is no exception. They just are really strong there.

Uploads quickly and smoothly. Easy to find photos and brings up photos from the past, one year ago, five years ago etc. a great value.

This is a great app, as long as you have the Amazon Prime membership. The ability to upload unlimited photos is really what makes it the best. This is great if you take a lot of pictures, or pictures that are in high quality. Still learning the app. So far so good. Solid 4.5/5

Some part of my brain heaves a sigh of relief every time I think about my photos being safely tucked away on Amazons disk drives. I never need to worry about losing them. The app is beautiful in its design and user interface. I believe anyone could not go wrong by adding this incredible app to their arsenal and using it constantly.

Love the amount of photo storage and I can grab an old photo anytime. BUT now I am so ready to find another photo storage. Trying to scan through thousands of photos is not practical and needs to have a better way of filing them. Each time I try to look through my photos it crashes. I cant upload photos at all, Ive tried at least 10 different times. The video storage should be able to hold more memory since Im paying for a yearly membership.

I really like that I can see all of my pictures with out taking space up on my devices.

I love that my Prime membership comes with unlimited photo storage. And this app works very well. I wish there was a way it uploaded photos when the app wasnt open or you could do something else while your photos uploaded in the background, but alas, it does not. What it does do is upload pictures very quickly and accurately. Ive never had a problem with it.

Amazing prime is the best! I love the free photo storage.
